About Fiesta
Institute of Education Development (InED) will be organising a one-day event called “InED Fiesta” on Saturday, 24th March 2007. This event will be held at Padang Kawad, UiTM Shah Alam.
The main objectives of the event are to provide a networking platform for existing e-PJJ students and to promote and publicize the Institute of Education Development (InED), especially its e-PJJ programmes. There is an interactive Education Fair element in the programme.
Key participants at this event will be current InED e-PJJ students and their families, representatives from InED’s programmes, potential e-PJJ students and their families, academicians, deans, coordinators, other students, and the media. UiTM Vice-Chancellor will officiate at this event.
Since the e-PJJ programme of InED was established in 1998, most potential students have been exposed to InED programmes through their colleagues, InED’s website or newspaper new-intake advertisements. The media publicity generated by this event is expected to create additional awareness and exposure to InED and its programmes. This is the first time InED is organising an “Open-Day” for students.

Let's Fiesta
This fiesta is open to all current and potential distance learning students and their families; and educators. It is a platform to create awareness of InED's education programmes as well as an opportunity for InED students to network with each other and share their experiences. This event is the first time such a programme being planned by InED, with e-PJJ Public Relations students assisting in planning and coordinating this event.
Many activities for you & your family! Food stalls, bazaars, free medical check up and artist performance by Usoff (ex Baji Group); and photography with Iqram Dinzly of TV3 Drama Dunia Baru.
Lets see who wins in games activities: tug-of-war, gunny sack run, mini bowling, five-a side-football, sketch contest and booth treasure hunt. Also clown show, colouring contest and musical chair for children’s enjoyment!

Fiesta Activities
InED Fiesta is a one-day event from 8.30am to 4.15pm. Activities for the day are:
* Officiating of event by VIP.
The event will be officiated by UiTM Vice Chancellor, Y. Bhg. Dato’ Seri Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Abu Shah and InED Director, Prof. Madya Rosmin Talib.
* Booth Tour
There will be varieties of booths at the event. VIPs will be invited to tour the booth to introduce the participating vendors.
* InED Exhibition Fair
Consultation on e-PJJ courses offered by InED to participants and interactive demonstration on communication method between e-PJJ students and lecturers.
* Senamrobik
Senamrobik will be held in the morning for the early birds, a healthy good start for all participants at the event.
* Games
Field games participants will be from various categories:
a) InED management/staff vs e-PJJ Students
b) Lecturers vs e-PJJ students
c) e-PJJ students from various faculties
d) Academicians/Deans/Coordinators from various faculties
e) public participation.
* Field games include:

A pre-registered sketch contest from e-PJJ students of various programmes. Each team comprises a minimum of 4 students with 10 – 15 minutes of sketch performance.

There will be a live broadcast via Radio UfM.
